welcome to wilde
Wilde Academy was founded by no other than Vincent Cornelius Wilde, a philosopher at heart and an allegedly psychotic genius by profession. No one really knows where he got the money to start the Academy, but who cares?

Situated at the Western Coast of Australia, the Wildesiders are the best of the best and the worst of the worst. It is here that the hierarchy of society is experienced by the students in Wilde Academy's impeccably liberated but effective educational program. Here, the students could take life by the horns or watch from the sidelines and wish they were the ones on the spotlight (and more or less risk getting kicked in the ass in the process).

No one could deny that Wilde Academy has consistently been producing future leaders, superstar athletes, multimillionaire geniuses, Nobel Prize Winners and other influential people over the past sixty years. But W.A. has had their share of professional couch potatoes, drug dealers, wannabe superstars and nobodies. But hey, first class facilities are hard to come by these days. Parents would do anything to get their children to the very top, but the possibility of dropping to the lowest of the low is very real and very possible.

It's high school, ladies and gents.

Anything could happen.

Packing , unpacking, packing up again....It was basically the theme of her life at this point. Yet she was still pretty bad at it, and usually ended up forgetting the basic necessities or else over packing stuff she really didn't even need. If there was one good thing that had come from the experience, it was her habit of packing light. Laying in the middle of the hood and windshield of her car, she watched with amusement as people struggled with their literal piles of bags and boxes. It really didn't make sense, the people who were probably going to be in their dorm the least were the ones having people carry in vanity sets and portable closet organizers for them. How people could require so much was beyond her.
Shaking her head, she pulled out a white zippo and lit the cig that had been dangling from her lips for the past five minutes. With all the high maintenance kids rushing to get their things into their rooms, she was going to hang back and wait for everything to calm down. All she had was a large suitcase, duffel bag, and backpack, all oh which were still piled in the backseat of her car. Crossing one leg over the other, she blew out a few faint rings of smoke. There was no point in rushing anyway, since classes would be starting soon, it would be nice to spend as much time outside of the school as possible. Exploring could wait for the first day, it'd at least give her a somewhat decent excuse for being late or not showing up at all.
Flipping some strands of hair from her face, she closed her eyes, holding the cig away just enough to prevent her from burning herself. She stayed like that for a few minutes until she felt the presence of somebody.
"I haven't got another, and no you can't borrow my lighter." Still keeping her eye closed, she barely moved. If nobody was even there, then at leas people would probably take her talking to herself as a sign to stay the hell away.

don't you suppose it's such a waste

"I wouldn't dream of it. I'm more of a metaphorical smoker anyway." Meghan replied looking at the girl, she had one of those tones -the other girl, the kind that she couldn't quite put her finger on, as though the voice had seen better days, however this girl seemed like a refreshing sort of change, despite her urge to purchase her own form of lung cancer through a cardboard packet, she seemed interesting.

Which was nice, because Meghan hated boring things. She moved her own duffle bag further up her shoulder, she had a sort of dishevelled presence about her, half shy and half assertive was a better way to describe her current state, that was most likely why she stood where she stood in the social order of things, right in the middle. "You're suitcase looks like it's seen better days."

Alice bit the inside of her cheek to stop herself from smiling.
"Mmkay Augustus Waters." She brought the cig to her lips for a short drag. Blowing the
smoke out upwards towards the clouds , she finally opened her eyes. With just a quick
once over, Alice decided the girl was tolerable, or at least for the time being. She kind of
looked how normal would if normal had a certain look to it, or was a real thing, which most
likely meant she was anything but. Looks were deceiving though and they didn't really matter
in the end anyway, we'd all be skin and bones or something of like. With the comment about
her suitcase, Alice gave a subtle shrug.
"It's a bit of a slut in luggage terms. Loyal one nonetheless, I suppose. It's even been pissed in,
isn't that sick?"
Artist, poet, nothing better to do? Mentally, she tried to guess which
was the cause for the girl's interest in something so insignificant. Insignificance was in the eye
of the beholder though. Maybe just nosy. She flicked some ashes onto the hood of her car,
before settling her eyes on the girl's duffel.
"Yours looks like it needs to get out some more." Some might have taken offensive, but it was more
like a helpful tip to go out and see the world or something. Then again that was pretty rich coming from
her, seeing as she was currently smoking in the parking lot of a boarding school that seemed to cater
specifically to the rich and talented. She had a car, she could take off if she so very wished to, yet here
she remained playing the role of the exiled angsty teen. Taking another hit from the the cancerous stick,
she held the poison in as long as her young lungs could stand to before blowing out a thick stream of
milky white smoke. Introductions seemed in order, but she was going to see if the girl even stuck around
long enough for them.

Freya felt the corners of her lips rise up into a smile, she could tell that she and this girl were going to have some good times together, and although on most occasions she would refrain from the idea of building something up, of having some sort of expectation because a majority of her previous experiences had been unfortunate. There was nothing specifically traumatic, a few things out of the ordinary, but her life was simply unfortunate, a series of unfortunate events that often inspired little to no sympathy from others. And she quite often preferred it that way.
"If we could, we would, unfortunately for Valma and I," Valma of course being the name she had so kindly given to her suitcase, it was Finnish for loyal, although she doubted many would know that perhaps they'd just think she was 'quirky', because unfortunately for the Finnish not many spoke their language, "We've got great ambition yet very little resources. she continued as she watched the girl exhale a little bit less of herself with each puff of the cigarette, but she chose not to further comment, in her experience, there were three kinds of people who smoked, smart people, dumb people, or damaged people, often it was two out of three.

She outstretched her pale and moderately skeletal hand towards the other girl, " I'm Freya." she introduced herself.
